As there are expatriate residents and tourists in Tunisia who are Christians, especially in the summertime, we ask, Lord, that You would encourage and empower these men, women, and children to learn the language and culture of Tunisia so that they can faithfully communicate Your good news to nationals.
Democratic elections were held in Tunisia in October of 2011 to determine leaders responsible for rewriting the nation's constitution. Official elections under the new government were originally to be held one year later. With slow progress on the draft constitution, proposed election dates have been changed again and again. The most recent projected date is late October 2013. Continue to pray for Tunisia's government in this most significant season of change.
